Free Download Stronghold Crusader

Still remind the game stronghold crusader? yes stronghold crusader is a game created by firefly studio. This game was released in 2001 and is still a lot of people who are interested to play this game.

The gameplay is similar to the original Stronghold, the major difference being that the game is set in the Middle East. As a consequence, farms can only be built on oasis grass, which leads to rivalry among players for limited farmland and resources.

The game adds new AI opponents (the number depending on the version of the game) and several new Arabian units purchasable from a mercenary post. The colour of the player’s units have also been changed from blue to red in order to match the colours of the Knights Templar.

Camera Review : Canon Powershot G1X

Camera Review : Canon Powershot G1X

My first glimpse of this unit was just prior to Christmas. Obviously Canon was mighty proud of it and, despite the Yuletide pressures, was keen to show it off, guarded by a raft of non-disclosure tie-ups. For some years now the G series has been the company’s compact camera tour de force, beginning with the G1 in the year 2000 and running all the way to the G12 in 2010.   Canon Powershot G1X-1.jpg Canon Powershot G1X-2.jpg However, in recent years it has faced a barrage of criticism from users mainly regarding its noise performance. Canon answered this criticism by reducing the sensor resolution whilst increasing the pixel pitch. More howls of protest, mainly from people who believe more pixels equals more picture (quality)! Canon Powershot G1X-3.jpg This time the company figures it must have got it right (at last) in the G1X by by using a 38mm sensor (15mm in the G12) and an effective pixel population of 14.3 megapixels, tucked away in a compact body that is easily pocketed. Table 2.jpg

Canon Powershot G1X Features

My first impression of the working face of the camera is that of a serious workhorse: the camera feels solid, while the few controls are black with text IDs in white. Top deck has the power button, mode dial and, concentric with it, the exposure correction (+/- two f stops) dial plus the shutter button, surrounded by the zoom lever … and the DR (Dynamic Range) correction wheel; to the left is the flash pop up trigger. Round the back we see the swinging vari-angle LCD screen plus the usual buttons for menu access, the function button, movie record, image replay, jog wheel, metering and AF options plus an assignable S (for shortcut) button, found way over to the left of the camera, next to the optical finder. This array of external controls is a very powerful feature of the G1X and a collection you would be very wise to fully acquaint yourself with … the alternative would be a lot of pecking and picking in the menu. Menu.JPG For me, there was only one foible with the system: I continually found myself rolling the exposure correction wheel while turning the mode dial. Practise boy! Practise! As an alternative to the LCD screen the optical finder is a serious let-down, pokey and dim, with a big slice of the bottom quarter of the frame obscured by the lens barrel when set to full wide. The maximum image size is 4352×3264 pixels, which would lead to a final print size of 37x28cm. Movies can be shot at 1920×1080 pixel resolution and 24fps.

Movies

For a still camera that also shoots Full HD movies the G1X is the ‘full bottle’ … in an odd way, the limited zoom range helps capture shake free movies very easily. Focus and exposure work smoothly, while the stabiliser handles average bumps very well.

Macro

It was only when I came to shooting the ISO tests that I found a serious shortcoming in the G1X: macro! To fill the frame with the test orange, twine reel, can and bottle I was obliged to zoom fully wide, select macro and push into a spot just 12cm from the subject. With full tele on the zoom and macro I could approach only 75cm from the subject. Area: 26x19cm. If you’re into shooting big, screen-filling shots of coins, stamps and the like … forget it! Not a good look as they say.

Canon Powershot G1X ISO Performance

Canon G1X ISO 100.JPG Canon G1X ISO 400.JPG Canon G1X ISO 800.JPG Canon G1X ISO 1600.JPG Canon G1X ISO 3200.JPG Canon G1X ISO 6400.JPG Canon G1X ISO 12800.JPG Quite a startling performance: all the way from ISO 100 to 6400 the image quality, in terms of noise, was flawless. Only when ISO 12800 was reached did noise become evident, but the colour was still accurate while definition still more than acceptable. One of those few cameras where the high ISO performance means you could (IMHO) use any setting for nearly every subject. Breathtaking!

Canon Powershot G1X Verdict

Quality: very, very good. The auto exposure system works well in dealing with wide ranges of brightness, as can be seen in the above beachside shots. Note: there is detail even in the foreground figures, while still delivering information in the surf background. Why you would buy it: big sensor for a compact digicam; great ISO performance. Why you wouldn’t: a little too complex for your personal skill set; limited macro performance. There are plenty of people out there who would relish the burst speed of 4.5 fps â€" at full resolution. But, on the other hand, there will be those who hanker for a longer zoom range.

Samsung UN46C9000 Review LED HDTV

Samsung UN55C9000 Review

Strengths

  • 3D Compatible
  • Appearance/Aesthetics brushed Titanium
  • Bright, strong colors excellent picture
  • Deep black levels
  • Internet Apps with optional wifi
  • 240Hz for Sports programming
  • Picture upgrading Standard Definition Programs
  • Super Cool Touch Screen Remote Control has on screen content viewing option

Weaknesses

  • 240Hz feature with other programming besides sports still distracting
  • Slight contrast degradation from side angles (but better than most LEDs)
  • 3D glasses flicker and flashing present
  • 3D not as deep and realistic as plasma
  • Wifi not included (optional)
  • Remote does not have keyboard. Must be charged frequently
HD Picture Quality: First off, know that the 120Hz and 240Hz feature on the Samsung LED TVs have been greatly improved from the first edition. The feature is intended to reduce judder and smooth out the picture from that annoying jerky effect. But there are side effects. The kitchy cardboard cutout effect that we experienced on prior models stubbornly remains. The effect is due to removal of natural background blur with film based content. The effect can be distracting and unnatural especially at first. But thankfully, one can just turn this feature off. Turning it off will cause the jerky judder to return, but this is probably best for movies and TV programming. For sports programming, we recommend using the feature. To adjust: Click Menu/picture/Scroll down to Picture Options/Press enter/Scroll down to AutoMotionPlus 240Hz/Press Enter/Scroll or press to Off position.

Samsung UN55C9000 Review LED HDTV Television, 3D Ready

Samsung UN55C9000 Review

Description: 55" LCD TV with LED Backlighting, HDTV, 3D Ready, 240Hz, Super Thin, Titanium Frame

The UNC9000 series is the top of the line from Samsung for 2010 – the most expensive and feature laden TV they make. The plethora of features includes 3D TV ready, wifi ready, super thin frame, extremely beautiful aesthetic appeal, Samsung's excellent Internet Apps choices, 240Hz refresh rate processing speed, A 2D to 3D conversion system, and a super cool touch screen remote control. Of course, these features build on many past features that are also present on this TV, such as the menu system introduced last year. But what are the drawbacks? How do these features perform? Is the contrast all that Samsung claims? And how does the TV fit into the value picture?

Once this is accomplished how is the picture? Vibrant. The picture is super color saturated and bright with powerful lighting while maintaining good saturation in blacks. Blue tones from the LED edge lighting are slightly oversaturated in the C9000 as is overall saturation. Click on our Picture Settings here to see our recommendations on how to calibrate. Two of the rumored and real flaws of edge lit LED are uneven lighting or backlighting and side angle viewing contrast degradation. The uneven lighting issue is nearly non-existent on the UN55C9000.

With all lights off and a solid blue screen we could note some variation, however once a movie is playing on the TV, signs of this issue are unnoticeable. Side angle viewing is an issue with all TVs except plasma TVs which have individually lit phosphor cells. We felt side angle viewing on the C9000 is above average at around 30 degrees off center before noticing a slight decrease in contrast. The TV performed better than the C7000 series in this regard probably due to the Mega Dynamic Contrast technology included on this TV.

Samsung LN32D450 Review

Model: Samsung LN32D450
Description: 32" LCD TV
Resolution: 1366 X 768 (720p)
Reviewer: Robert Wiley
Date: Summer 2011

The Samsung LN32D450 does not have Internet feature functionality.
Samsung's proprietary technology AnyNet is included as an option which allows easy communication between Samsung devices and sharing of remote controls.
The input selection of the LN32D450 gives an ample 3 HDMI inputs, a composite, component, USB (which allows video viewing). The component and composite inputs cannot be shared - only one at the time.

Aesthetic design appeal is one of the strengths of the LN32D450 as there is a lack of good looking attractively prices 32" TVs in the marketplace. The design is little changed from last years C450 with a slight scarlet red touch of color at the bottom of the framing bezel and surrounding the frame. You almost cant believe how light the TV is upon lifting it, a scant 15.7 pounds. The TV is 3.25" in depth so not of the super thin variety, but the lines are very clean and the oval stand is a nice looking accompaniment. The depth is 8" with the stand. The included non-swivel table top stand is very light and plastic and requires some assembly (8 screws) to attach the TV. There is no screwdriver included and we had a difficult time getting the screws tightened enough to fully secure the TV.

The remote control is large, basic, is not backlit, but contains sufficient controls - especially for this size of TV. There is a nifty "tools" key that allows from quick selection of frequently used controls. The onscreen overlay menu is very complete with some surprising inclusions such as Advanced Picture settings.
